Growing up as a first-generation immigrant, in a working-class neighborhood, I had a front row seat to the struggle of families that lived paycheck to paycheck. There was no ability to plan for a financial future, as our lives were anchored in living for today.
I grew to understand that without financial literacy in the concepts of saving & investing for the future, there is no way out. There is minimal interest in educating hard working families on how to attain financial independence. Because of this experience, a curiosity was sparked to learn the financial secrets of how successful people accumulate wealth & more importantly, transfer that wealth across multi-generations.
This interest in understanding capital markets & how to make money work for me that led me to Rutgers Business School. Upon graduation in 2000, I began my journey in wealth management & financial planning.
Spending the first decade of my career at one of the large firms gave me the industry experience necessary to follow my dream of creating an institutional-quality family office. I founded Atlas Private Wealth Advisors, with a mission to empower families through education. It is our vision that every family is partnered with their very own personal Board of Advisors who provide a holistic one-stop wealth management solution, managing the entire wealth experience for our clients.
At Atlas, we are always advancing our knowledge through continued education. In addition to multiple securities registrations, I hold several key professional designations, including the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation, and the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor℠ (APMA®), all being graduate-level designation programs for experienced financial professionals.
I love what I do professionally, but a well-balanced life is essential. Outside of my responsibilities to clients & the firm, me & my wife Stella have a lust for adventure. We treasure our ability to travel, explore new lands & cultures. We enjoy trying new restaurants, being outdoors and staying active. It has also become increasingly important to set aside playtime for our new addition to the family, our little Gwyneth. With whatever time I have leftover, I enjoy exercise and playing tennis, running around with our puppy Loki (a Schnoodle), listening to podcasts, reading books and occasionally, if time permits a fun game of Dungeons & Dragons.
If you are someone who wants to invest and engage in your future and the future of your children, I’d be delighted to meet you.
